My Growing Kids!

Ethan started first grade on July 21st. Yes, he has year-round school so he starts in the summer. It's kind of funny because he started kindergarten just one month prior to his 5th birthday. I had a four year old kindergartener! :) So, once again he is the youngest in his class. Oh well, he will know no different. Ethan is just so smart and interested that I couldn't hold him back. I have heard everyone's advice on the subject, but my gut tells me to put him in school. Who am I to fight with my gut?
He comes home everyday so excited to tell me about his day. Ethan's teacher is brand new this year and is really enthusiastic. I like her a lot; more importantly, Ethan loves her. With him gone all day, I seriously don't know what to do with myself half the time. It's really quiet around here in the daytime now (except for the occasional "Izzy Fit"). You'd think I would get a lot done around here, but mostly I just relax and try to take it easy (see previous post). However, I am having fun doing Izzy's hair and making hair bows. I also get the occasional load of laundry done. ;)

I couldn't believe Isabella let me put these curlers in her hair. I wrapped them as fast as I could and she left them in! Actually, I think she tried to pull one out and decided it hurt too bad to mess with it. Izzy wandered around the house adorned with her diaper and curlers to which Corey said, "I can't believe I have a little girl in curlers." I smiled and thought, "I am loving every minute of it." In about 3 months we are going to add another one. Oh my!

Where's her 'after' picture?

No after picture due to how ornery she was that night. I just took out at the curlers and put her to bed. :)
